With assistance from other outside organisations we are currently able to offer two grants to help you cut the cost of a visit to the Severn Valley Railway.
Special Needs
West Bromwich Building Society & Mercian Trust
This fund allows a limited number of supervising adults to travel free. It assists visits for children with a broad range of special needs. It does not distinguish between physical disability or any other medical condition that requires this extra support. If you think you may have a pupil or pupils who fall into this category please mention this when booking.
Historical Model Railway Society
Grants of at least £100 per school are available for schools undertaking a project related event. Conditions surrounding this grant are not onerous. Interested teachers should discuss this option with our Education Officer at the time of booking.
