Bridgnorth Station
From the platform and footbridge, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the locomotive works, where you might catch a steam engine taking on coal and water, or being maintained by the Railway’s engineers. Make sure you visit either the GWR-style refreshment room or the on-platform pub, the Railwayman’s Arms, which has been serving pints since 1861.
Take the high-level steel bridge from the station to walk into Bridgnorth town. You can visit the ruins of a 12th-century castle and its gardens, take a trip on Bridgnorth Cliff Railway, Britain’s steepest inland funicular railway, and browse the town’s dozens of independent shops. There are traditional street markets on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Drivers of high vehicles such as camper vans must park in our lower car park (WV16 4AX) because of a height restriction on exiting the upper car park.
