A Festive Afternoon Tea on the Severn Valley Railway, is brimming with a sprinkle of magic for a truly festive experience.
Savour delicious treats and fine tea as you journey through the picturesque landscape of the Severn Valley, creating an unforgettable ambiance. Feel the enchantment of the festive season as you indulge in delectable scones, mouth-watering sandwiches, and sweet treats, all accompanied by the soothing rhythm of the train and the twinkling lights of the season. A magical adventure for the senses, enjoy a festive afternoon tea unlike any other on the Severn Valley Railway.
The Festive Afternoon Tea train will depart from Kidderminster at 2pm, travels to Highley and returns to Kidderminster station at 3.45pm. Passengers stay on the train throughout the journey.
This dining experience will be catered for by the SVR in-house team.

Important Information:
- Kidderminster station offers an ANPR-controlled car park for £4 per day.
- Dogs are not allowed on the dining train (assistance dogs welcome).
- While we can accommodate most allergen requests, please note that we cannot provide a NUT FREE service due to our preparation areas.
- The historic design of our dining car carriages, with narrow doors, gangways, steep steps and fixed tables, means it is not possible to accommodate wheelchairs at a table. If you have accessibility requirements, please contact us prior to booking on 01562 757 900 (Option 2 – Mon to Fri 9.30am to 4.30pm).
- If you book four tickets (or two tickets with a table for two supplement) you will be seated on your own table. If you book two tickets without a table supplement, you will be allocated two seats on a table for four sharing with up to two other passengers.
