A Festive Afternoon Tea on the Severn Valley Railway, is brimming with a sprinkle of magic for a truly festive experience.
Relax in our beautifully decorated vintage dining carriage as you journey through the stunning Severn Valley countryside, enjoying a delicious festive afternoon tea freshly prepared by our in-house catering team.
Indulge in scones, a selection of freshly made sandwiches, and an assortment of festive sweet treats, all served with fine tea, as the train gently travels through the landscape.
With seasonal charm and breathtaking views, this unique dining experience offers the perfect way to celebrate the festive season with family and friends.
The Festive Afternoon Tea train departs Kidderminster at 2.00pm, travels to Highley, and returns to Kidderminster at 3.45pm. Passengers remain seated and enjoy their afternoon tea throughout the entire journey.

Important Information:
- Kidderminster station offers an ANPR-controlled car park for £4 per day.
- Dogs are not allowed on the dining train (assistance dogs welcome).
- While we can accommodate most allergen requests, please note that we cannot provide a NUT FREE service due to our preparation areas.
- The historic design of our dining car carriages, with narrow doors, gangways, steep steps and fixed tables, means it is not possible to accommodate wheelchairs at a table. If you have accessibility requirements, please contact us prior to booking on 01562 757 900 (Option 2 – Mon to Fri 9.30am to 4.30pm).
- If you book four tickets (or two tickets with a table for two supplement) you will be seated on your own table. If you book two tickets without a table supplement, you will be allocated two seats on a table for four sharing with up to two other passengers.
