Steam is back this Wednesday (27/07/22)

After a temporary switch to exclusively heritage diesel-hauled services, we’re pleased to announce that steam will return this Wednesday (27/7)! The threat of lineside fires has now reduced, but we’ll use diesel assistance to be on the safe side for the first day.

There’ll be two steam-hauled services; for the 10.00am from Kidderminster 1501 will be paired with 20189, and at 10.30 from Bridgnorth 7714 will depart with 20048 behind. Quite unusual sights, and worth coming to see we think!
