The Severn Valley Railway is OPEN on Wednesday 22nd June – Sunday 26th June
Despite the national main line rail strikes, the Severn Valley Railway will be fully OPEN for business from Wednesday 22nd – Sunday 26th, and we can’t wait to see you!
Please be aware that because of the strike action, there will be major disruptions throughout the week to main line trains arriving at Kidderminster, until Sunday. If you were planning to travel to the SVR by rail, you may want to make alternative travel arrangements.
By Bus
There is a bus stop directly outside Kidderminster Station, and bus Nos 10, 15A, 15C, 52, 125, 133, 192, S15 and X92 stop here. Other services will take you to Kidderminster Bus Station, which is a 10-minute walk from the SVR.
By Car
There is plenty of car parking on site at Kidderminster, costing £4 per day. Our car parks are operated by ANPR.
Kidderminster Station is roughly:
- 30 minutes’ drive from Worcester
- 45 minutes from Wolverhampton
- 50 minutes from Birmingham
- 1 hour from Leominster
Remember to leave extra time when travelling to visit us, as traffic on roads and bus usage is likely to increase because of the rail strike
