Kidderminster Station

You’d think that Kidderminster Town’s impressive station building and concourse are straight from the Edwardian era, but they were in fact built in the mid-1980s, as a faithful recreation of a 1900s GWR station. On-site, you can visit the Valley Suite for refreshments, the King & Castle pub for something stronger, and pay a visit to the gift shop. There’s plenty to discover in the Kidderminster Railway Museum, housed in an original warehouse, built in 1878. Take a ten-minute walk to the unique Museum of Carpet, in the town which was once known as the carpet capital of the world.
