Facilities Maintenance Operative
Based in Kidderminster and working across various sites along the Railway, this part-time role (16 hours per week) is responsible for helping to maintain the safety, functionality, and appearance of the Railway’s buildings, stations, visitor facilities, and operational premises, carrying out planned preventative maintenance as well as respond to reactive maintenance requirements.
The successful candidate will have experience in building and facilities maintenance and be capable of carrying out minor repairs safely and efficiently. They will be confident in the use of hand and power tools, comfortable managing work records digitally, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A good understanding of safe working practices is essential, together with a full UK driving licence.
